Our Mission
Our mission is to support you, our client in your event planning and production so that your event will be successful, run safely, smoothly and above all professionally. We aim to share your vision of your event and support delivery of it with the highest levels of service, loyalty and integrity. We have a passion for excellence.
You will benefit from a skilled and experienced team who understand event organisation inside out, from health and safety to stewarding, from traffic management to toilets, from licensing authorities to light and sound. We will help you through the maze of planning so that you can concentrate on the content and delivery of your event.
To ensure the successful working of your event we concentrate on building strong relationships with our clients, embracing your ethos and vision – our team becomes an extension of your team. Whether on site or on the phone representing you in the most professional manner is always our top priority. You will feel supported and released to concentrate on what is most important to you and what you do best.

Company History
Affinity Events was founded in the summer of 2001 to serve the need for good quality, cost effective event management. Managing Director Alan Wallace had previously held management responsibility for many events across the UK, including major outdoor events such as the annual GreenBelt Festival, Pentecost 2000 and Picnic in the Park (for Cheltenham Arts Festivals), as well as corporate launches of ‘The Miracle Maker’ film and a sixteen date tour of the UK promoting the Bible Society.
Prior to that, Alan held the position of National Youth Officer for a large international charity where he was responsible for organising over 100 events a year.
Fellow director Liz Wallace brings organisational, creative and financial skills from her role within MAM, another international charity. Liz has worked all over the world, and immediately prior to forming Affinity worked as tour manager for a series of one-day conferences for a national charity.
In 2002, the company moved to Chepstow, where it has continued to grow and expand its team, to work on the increasing number of events.
Ben Warlow was promoted to our board of directors in 2007 having joined the company in 2005. He has made his mark running events effectively, in his client management and business management skills.
What we do
Affinity Events provide a complete event management service. We will be as involved in your event as you want us to be, but will never take over, always serving your needs – we are there to work with you and your team to make the event the best that it can be.
Most of the events that we organise contain many of the same component parts – our skill is to understand from our clients which of those components they require. We then design and develop an operating plan to fit all of these parts together in a creative, cost effective and efficient way – whilst taking into consideration all of the latest health and safety, disability and licensing legislation.
We understand the need to get it right – the first time; on time and on budget – our work in the charity sector means that we know how to keep to a budget, yet our work in the corporate sector means we will never risk the quality of the event.

- As Ambassadors we will show pride in your event, and act in a way that will reflect positively on your event and organisation.
- As your Suppliers we are at your service – twenty four hours a day, seven days a week – if you need us, we will be there.
