Technical Event Production
When technology is used to help deliver event content, it often over powers, or under delivers the message that is being communicated. Whether you are running a conference or a festival, it is important that any equipment is there to support the event - not the other way around.
The team at Affinity Events will match your requirements with the latest equipment, ideas and solutions. Because we are completely independent, we will always ensure you receive the equipment you need.
We won’t dazzle you with science, or under or over hire you the equipment you will need. Our technicians and production managers are some of the best in the industry - ensuring that you get the event that you want at a price you can afford.
We often supply a technical solution to events that we are not managing - as we can offer a full technical solution, as well as the equipment - and because we bulk buy - our prices are usually the same or less than a technical company. Our value added service will ensure that you come back to us again and again.
Technical - Audio Visual
Affinity Events provide more than just projectors and plasma screens. At Affinity we help you to communicate your ideas or message through visuals – whether that be live image relays through cameras, DVD or VHS playback or very simple powerpoint - we can help. Our technical team have provided audio visual solutions for everything from conferences for 30 people to large scale LED production with live cameras and VHS / DVD / Beta playback.
Technical - Lighting
Whether you want to light a conference, exhibition stand, indoor or outdoor event – our lighting designers will be able to help. Our experience of many different events means that we can create a lighting package no matter what you require.
- Static lights – used to highlight particular areas – such as a stage or exhibition stand.
- Spot lights – used to highlight logos or people on a stand or stage.
- Moving lights – used to create special lighting states – used in both conferencing and live events.
- Lighting control systems – make the most from the lighting system with a system controller.

Technical - Stages
Affinity Events have many year’s experience of specifying, designing and installing staging systems. No matter what your event, our modular staging systems will provide you with the ideal solution. For indoor events we can provide staging at any height for conference, exhibition stand or concert. All of the stages, no matter what shape or height can be fully carpeted and draped in colours of your choice – giving the highest quality to your event.
Our stages can be at multiple levels, and many different shapes, and come complete with handrails and steps if required. We can custom design any of your requirements into the staging plan – from grills in the floor for heaters or air conditioning, to custom ramps and movable risers.
For outdoor events there is nothing better than our industry standard modular systems. With staging and roof systems from as small as 8ft x 8ft to 100ft wide and more – all of our staging is custom fitted to deal with any ground conditions. We can build stages on soft or hard ground – at any height you choose.
For concert and festival events, we recommend that all stages are protected by industry standard crowd (or ‘pit’) barrier. We work closely with the UK’s leading barrier suppliers to ensure that all of the events are safe and secure for all those attending or working at them.

From simple sets on exhibition stands, to custom built designs, Affinity Events will design, create and produce conference or exhibition sets which complement your company, event and overall design. Whether we are including the latest communication technology, or creating something more simple, our service will be simple to use, creative and cost effective. From drapes and curtains of any colour, to painted wood, plastic or metal frames, we have a solution for every event - no matter if your event is in a hotel conference room, an exhibition hall or in a marquee or big top.
